On a sunny March afternoon, we had the honor of photographing Vanessa and Brad’s picturesque wedding at the historic White Orchid at Oasis, located on the Caloosahatchee River in Fort Myers, Florida. This venue has the vintage charm with an “Old-Florida” vibe, while showcasing pure elegance and sophistication. The White Orchid was the perfect location for this stunning couple.
After pandemic related postponement, the amazing couple finally got the chance to become husband and wife. Their love was truly captivating, as was their beautifully crafted nuptials.
Let’s talk details! As photographers, we really do love and appreciate the beauty of details. Vanessa’s dress was a strapless, lace, ornately belted gown with chapel train. It was exquisite and made for her. The whimsical bouquet was white ranunculus, peonies, and roses with blue and violet wispy accents. Her bouquet was accompanied by two very special and sentimental gifts. The groom donned a perfectly tailored gray, three-piece suit with waterfall, aqua accents. Brad held a special memento, given to him by his Mom. He also wore a gifted, personalized pocket watch, to complete his ensemble.
Their ceremony began with groomsmen and bridesmaids walking down a cobblestone “aisle” on the luxurious lawn of the White Orchid. Vanessa was accompanied by her parents as she proceeded to join Brad. With a gorgeous ceremony overlooking the river, their love was amplified by their heartfelt and personal vows. As they looked at each other with mutual respect and adoration, one particular vow resonated. They spoke that love and marriage isn’t 50/50, it’s 100/100. The elated couple then shared a magical kiss to seal their commitment to one another. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Conti. Now it was time to party!
Family and friends gathered to celebrate the new couple. The guests lovingly watched as the couple shared an emotional first dance, followed by Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dances. The night continued on and gave us a magnificent sunset matched with a full moon. Some say that when your marriage falls under a full moon, the marriage will be one of harmony and balance.
